IUGB is a dynamic American-style university, preparing the next generation of leaders in Africa by executing the following:
- Provides internationally-recognized, technology-enhanced English medium instruction in career-oriented fields for students in Côte d’Ivoire.
- Actively promotes gender equity (enrollment is already 44 percent/56 percent female/male).
- Offers three scholarship programs to make college affordable to deserving students.
IUGB’s Mission
As a world-class, not-for-profit, American-style institution, IUGB’s mission is to deliver an English-language liberal arts education in fields critical to growth and development of Côte d’Ivoire and West Africa.
IUGB is strengthening its academic programs for a new workforce! The university offers six degree programs through two schools: The School of Business and Social Sciences and the School of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). IUGB also offers a University Preparatory Program.
A community of achievers learn here! A total of 71 students are on the President’s List, 70 on the Dean’s Lists and 41 students have High Honors.
IUGB attracts excellence! The University has a total of 97 faculty members, 42 with PhDs. There are 21 female faculty members, three of whom have PhDs.
