Scholars Partner Opportunity
The International University of Grand-Bassam Foundation is pleased to announce this important opportunity to help young women and men pursue their education and a better future.
Too many bright, determined students in Côte d’Ivoire just can’t afford to pursue their dreams to learn, grow, and earn a university degree today. Social and economic obstacles stand in their way…but you can change that.
You can become a Scholars Partner with your gift and help exceptional, aspiring students fulfill their life-long hope to receive a university education and transform their lives and impact their community and Western Africa today.
This unique opportunity will give you the ability to meet the real needs of Côte d’Ivoire today.
To qualify for your help, aspiring students meet the most rigorous academic and personal standards – maintaining a 3.0 GPA throughout their university studies, without other scholarship support, a citizen of a Western African nation facing economic hardship, and a family income well below their ability to afford the modest tuition of the International University of Grand-Bassam.
And 100% of your generosity goes directly to scholarships for low-income and highly-qualified students pursuing a life-changing education at IUGB.
Please become a Scholars Partner today with your gift. Click here to change a young life in Côte d’Ivoire today.
Donor-Advised Fund (DAF)
DAF makes it easy for donors to dedicate funds to support their favorite nonprofit organization. It also provides an operationally convenient and tax-efficient method for donors to manage their charitable giving. With a DAF, charitably inclined individuals, families, and businesses make an irrevocable gift to a public charity that sponsors a donor-advised fund program, and may take an immediate tax deduction. Donors can then recommend grants over time to IRS-qualified 501(c)(3) public charities. If you have an account with Fidelity, Schwab or BNY Mellon, donate by clicking here.
The IUGB Foundation is a permanent partner of GlobalGiving.org, a worldwide giving program, after successfully completing its Accelerator Program in October 2018. We earned SuperStar, Transparency and Vetted Status after raising funds towards our ongoing “Cote d’Ivoire Rising-STEM Scholarships for Females” program. New Campus Infrastructure in Grand-Bassam
IUGB’s growth has been rapid and shows no signs of slowing. From 17 students in 2007, the University now has 809 enrolled. This growth is expected to triple in the next ten years. To address this crucial need, IUGB is seeking financing and strategic partners for state-of-the art facilities to house our students and our academic programs. For more information, please reach out to Amini Kajunju at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Travel. Learn. Give.
We are creating a special curated tour experience to Cote d’Ivoire called “Travel.Learn.Give.” and we would like to gauge your interest. The goals for the tour are three-fold: to have fun, to learn about Cote d’Ivoire and IUGB and to pay it forward. Send us an email to express your interest to Amini Kajunju at email@example.com.
