Mr. Dalebe GNANDI is a Senior Lecturer in Mathematics at the International University of Grand Bassam. He holds a Master Degree in Mathematics from the University of READING in United Kingdom since 1998 and an Honour Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from London Metropolitan University in UK. He has also been industrially trained as an Actuary in UK where he held various positions within a number of blue ship insurance companies. He was the first Ivorian to work for the giant UK Insurance company Prudential as a trainee Actuary before being promoted to take charge of the Prudential Actuarial Admin quotation System. He then joined the Prudential Actuarial Modeling center department where he further developed his Actuarial Modeling skills by being part of a team of first-class UK expert working on the implementation of the very first Actuarial Stochastic Valuation Model in the UK Insurance Industry.
He has since then held several other positions across Europe including Allianz Darta Life as a Corporate Valuation Actuary in Republic of Ireland, and as an International Actuarial Consultant with AVIVA Insurance UK in the London office on Assignment in Istanbul (TURKEY). Mr Dalebe GNANDI has accumulated around 18 years of post-Master industrial work experience couple with a strong and proven interest in teaching and academic research. His research interests include Actuarial Risk Modeling, Mathematical Modeling and Numerical Analysis.
