This semester the faculty body is enforced with two (2) colleagues, who are teaching as full-time faculty. Below are short biographies for each of them.

Mr. Rodrigo ISLAS (Chilean) holds an MA in TESOL, from Universidad Andres Bello, Concepcion, Chile (2014) and a Bachelor’s degree in Education, from University of Concepcion, Concepcion, Chile (2000). He has fifteen (15) years of teaching experience. Mr. ISLAS is also an ESL/EFL professional with a wide experience in curriculum design, use of ICTs in language learning and cross-cultural projects in education and community service. He was previously a Language Curriculum Consultant at the University of Biobio and Academic in EFL at the University of Talca, Chile.

Ms. Brioné LATHROP (American) holds an MA in Psychology from John F. Kennedy University, Berkeley, California, USA and a Project Leadership Certification from Cornell University, New York, USA. She has fourteen (14) years of professional experience, teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) in a tertiary setting and seventeen (17) years’ experience in academic and administrative leadership. She started her teaching experience in China (2000). Afterward, she taught English as a foreign language in Brazil, Morocco and Oman. She has been teaching English for the last eight years at Zayed University, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
